Jennifer e-mailed late last year to see if I was available to photograph her wedding in Negril, Jamaica. Despite a busy travel schedule working as a freelance photojournalist, I hadn't shot any weddings outside of the United States and it seemed like a perfect fit. Fast forward six months later and I was getting on a plane to Montego Bay and then a short car ride brought me to the west side of the island, to Tensing Pen Resort.
Upon arriving, I was able to walk around the resort a bit to get a sense of the place and figure out some photo opportunities. The narrow footbridge suspended 20 feet above the water seemed like a great spot and I casually brought it up with Jennifer and Steven at which point they said "We want a photo of us jumping in the water!"
