Lizeth & Neal
I first spoke with Lizeth and Neal over a year ago, when they sent me an e-mail inquiring about photographing their wedding in Bogota, Colombia. They live in Los Angeles now, but Lizeth's family is from Colombia and they wanted their wedding to reflect her deep family connections to the country. The wedding took place in the beautiful countryside outside of Bogota at the Hacienda Marquez. The day began with a little rain, but it cleared up by the time Lizeth was led down the aisle by her father, who finished up the ceremony with a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria that he sung and played on guitar.
It might go without saying that there was a lot of dancing and music, and the night closed out with a group of traditional Colombian dancers holding candles as they flew around the dance floor.
